Deborah's 3 Muses 

I spent my childhood in Durham, NC, and my adult years living abroad in six countries- Peru, Bolivia, Ghana, Nepal, Bangladesh and Tanzania - with my husband, Charles, and two children, Bronwyn and Chas.  While living abroad, I worked in twenty-nine countries to develop community led early childhood systems that enabled young children in high poverty settings to achieve their great potential. I now live in Beaufort, NC, a seaside village, where I take inspiration from daily life.

For me, life is art, guided by three sources of inspiration – books, creative writing, and a lifestyle that promotes personal growth. I will explore what that means through monthly blog postings on Deborah's 3 Muses. In these I will chat about books that shape my thoughts, ideas that inspire my fiction; and experiences from abroad that taught me how to live everyday life in an extraordinary way.
